We can’t believe that it’s May already! Our M&G is under two months away! We all need to tie up loose ends so we are ready for June.
T-SHIRTS
The M&G T-shirts cost $20.00. To cut down on confusion we decided that it was best to put in one order for everyone. So if you want one please send your money in with the t-shirt size to the paypal account ttumandg@gmail.com.
The deadline to pay for your shirt is June 4, 2010. The T-shirts will be distributed in ATL.
Note: Since we are going to be right around the corner from the event date there will be absolutely NO extensions for this.

JUNE WILL BE HERE BEFORE WE KNOW IT
As many of you know our main focus at this time is getting activities planned. In order to do so we need to establish the best headcount we can. This as you can imagine is a very difficult task to accomplish, so we need as much help from our TTU Family as we can get. It’s super important that we have as accurate a head count as possible so that we can present the facility where the Main MEET AND GREET event will be held with the correct number of attendees. If we do not have the deposits and headcount they will not be able to accommodate you at the M&G event. We don’t want this to happen because we want to see all of your smiling faces there. This is also especially important for the other activities because in many cases it determines the actual cost of the group activity. As Britt mentioned in her last Ustream this is why we are requesting a:
$50 (non-refundable) deposit via PayPal by JANUARY 15, 2010. )

Details: 14 sleeper, 4 bathrooms, extremely spacious, pool, nice backyard/deck area.
NOTE: During the earliest stages of the M&G planning, BrittBrat took a poll to see who wanted to stay where and this will work out perfectly considering the responses.
(Note from Britt: With much effort exerted to contact as many ppl. as possible, I have a list of those who requested a bedroom in the house and they get first come first serve here. HOWEVER those people must have submitted their $45 (non-refundable) deposit via PayPal by OCTOBER 20, 2009. )

Renting vehicles is an option….I believe the age limit however has been raised to 25 years of age minimum….There will be a few ppl available to rent and the Buddy System works perfect here as well. For the more adventurous there’s always public transportation or cabs.
We are aware that there are people under the age of 21 in TTU. You are more than welcome to come, but there are activities that will be restricted to the group members that are 21 and above. We cannot be responsible for anyone that is underage, and to cut down on any confusion we request that you respect our decision to restrict you from those activities.

WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN IS THIS:
YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF STAYING A WEEK (MONDAY-SUNDAY)
OR
A WEEKEND (THURSDAY-SUNDAY)
It has been decided that we should rent a house for a week!!!! This is an extremely cool idea by the way!
The only way for this to work fairly is to do it on a first come first serve basis since the house only sleeps 12! HOWEVER…..everyone will be invited to the house for different events like cookouts etc.
(If the demand is high enough the company we are working with may have an additional house nearby available.)
*At this time we can only guarantee one house and it’s not a definite until the company has the deposit in hand.
Sooooooo it is a definite must that we get responses ASAP regarding the stay choice you choose be it a week or the 4-day weekend!
We have set up a paypal account so that we can pay for the house! The way the expense will be expended will be decided shortly and those people that put their deposits up will be the residents of the house….all others will have rooms at the hotel….. (NOTE: you MUST be staying the ENTIRE week to stay in the house)
Once we have the responses back we will contact people with the amount needed for the deposit and the deadline.
We will be updating you with newsletters as often as needed. In the next newsletter we will include various hotel options and info about the OFFICIAL TTU t-shirts which are being designed now.

TTU Meet and Greet
Hey Everybody!
As far as the Meet and Greet (M&G) goes we have a few things to decide on as collectively as possible so that I can begin looking into more detailed plans. I ask that each person responds within the next few days (no later than Thursday, July 30, 2009 @ noon or I cant promise to take ur opinion into consideration). This is an effort to accommodate as many people as possible but I cannot promise to plan a trip based off a few demands. Majority rules here! Even if ur unsure if you'll be joining us, please respond! You never know what mite happen!!! Things to consider:
1) Where are you located state wise???
2) Since we are scattered across the country (maybe the globe IDK) would you guys want to know the dates of the trip so we can plan arrival/departure individually? You can drive, fly, take a train, carpool with other TTU members in your area, take a bus, boat IDC LOL :)....I need to know if I should be planning to look into flights as this will change the whole planning method...I realize that some may not like to fly and it could cut expenses! So what would you like me to do? Look into transportation or provide the dates so u guys can plan ur own transportation?*With answers to question 1, I will be compiling a list of people and their locations so we'll know who's who and where they r!
3) Would you guys rather be in Atlanta for a week or just Thursday thru Sunday?!
4) As of now, Im just looking at Thurs-Sun and the dates recommended are:
a. May 20-23
b. June 3-7
c. June 10-13OR
a suggestion????
5) I need shirt sizes! Im going to look into getting T-Shirts made up eventually....Initially, twitter names may be the best ideas for the shirts as they would make for easy identifiers!!!! The way this will be handled will be discussed at a later date...u may be responsible for the fee of ur own shirt but like I said this will be discussed later!
6) Also, would you like a single room or roommates??? Celebs Cry Out: WE ARE ONLY HUMAN!
Wassup Yall?! First things first, PAYING TRIBUTE to the KING MICHAEL JACKSON for simply being an inspiration to an astronimical amount of people! His LEGACY is ridiculous....I mean STUPID DUMB!
Which brings me to my next point!
SO.....in this particular BLOG ABOUT IT SEGMENT, I want to touch base on stereotypes and the emphasis placed on them!
Why is it that as people, we spend so much of our time trying to categorize each other? I mean, we take time away from actually LIVING to analyze and read others without even knowing them. Then once we have em figured out, or at least we think so, we "KNOW" them and therefore can DESCRIBE their character.
SO...u guys ask me is that a problem?
Yes! As a matter of fact, it is! I know the stigma placed on celebrities in the past was something like, untouchable, unknowable, stuck-up, goody-2 shoes, and all those other negative connotations we LOVE to place on them.
Bottom line: THEY ARE HUMAN! They are just like u and me with emphasis on the cash flow and popularity, still some more than others! We go crazy over their presence and thats fine but the moment they don't make us feel as special, individually, as we feel we do them, it's a problem!
NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are not their only fan! As much as u tweet and stalk (yes stalk cuz some of US r stalkers....good ones though LOL :)) soooooo many others do too!
All im saying is give them a chance and realize that Celebs are human! They deal with cameras and blogs on a regular so as their fans we could be a little more sensitive before we fly off the handle at them about not recognizing you out of a million others!

Celebs are really awesome people because they have done things that some only dream! Don't sham them for it! They hurt like we hurt! SO when WE stereotype Celebs be clear where the fault lies!

Which brings me to my next point!
SO.....in this particular BLOG ABOUT IT SEGMENT, I want to touch base on stereotypes and the emphasis placed on them!
Why is it that as people, we spend so much of our time trying to categorize each other? I mean, we take time away from actually LIVING to analyze and read others without even knowing them. Then once we have em figured out, or at least we think so, we "KNOW" them and therefore can DESCRIBE their character.
SO...u guys ask me is that a problem?
Yes! As a matter of fact, it is! I know the stigma placed on celebrities in the past was something like, untouchable, unknowable, stuck-up, goody-2 shoes, and all those other negative connotations we LOVE to place on them.
Bottom line: THEY ARE HUMAN! They are just like u and me with emphasis on the cash flow and popularity, still some more than others! We go crazy over their presence and thats fine but the moment they don't make us feel as special, individually, as we feel we do them, it's a problem!
NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are not their only fan! As much as u tweet and stalk (yes stalk cuz some of US r stalkers....good ones though LOL :)) soooooo many others do too!
All im saying is give them a chance and realize that Celebs are human! They deal with cameras and blogs on a regular so as their fans we could be a little more sensitive before we fly off the handle at them about not recognizing you out of a million others!
